To convert the blanket to a bag simply pulls on the handles that disappear into the edges of the bag. You can then adjust them to the length that you desire.
To convert it back to a blanket simply extend the fabric. Then smooth the edges. The straps of the bag can be used like a satchel or twisted and put under the Velcro flaps to make a shoulder bag.
